Kate Melcher Flaws
Attorney Flaws is a founding member of Charron and Flaws. Attorney Kate Flaws brings a unique combination of legal and insurance experience to her practice with a record of representing injured plaintiffs, defending complex litigation actions and managing a multi-million dollar insurance services business. Prior to establishing Charron and Flaws, Kate was an associate at a leading Boston plaintiff firm, the Law Office of Howard M. Kahalas, and at the national insurance defense firm of Wilson, Elser, Moskowitz, Edelman & Dicker. Most recently she served as the Managing Director of Adeo Solutions, LLC a risk management business.
Ms. Flaws is a graduate of Merrimack College, magna cum laude, and New England School of Law, cum laude, where she was the recipient of the New England Scholar Award and the Book Award for Estate Planning. Kate served as a Senior Technical Editor for the New England Law Review, and her article proposing the revision of the affordable housing legislation in Massachusetts was published in 2004.
Ms. Flaws is admitted to practice in the state and federal district courts of Massachusetts and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Middlesex County Bar Association.
A life-long resident of Massachusetts, Ms. Flaws is a coach in the Lynnfield Youth Soccer organization.
